The brisk top note of cedar calls to mind the dark, ancient woods surrounding the village. The same woods where whispers of the Headless Horseman ride on the wind. Notes of leaves and apple recall the rustle of fallen foliage beneath Ichabod Crane’s boots and the sweet scent of an autumn harvest. Our shipping schedule is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and follow the Postal service’s operating hours. 

Weekend orders will fall on Monday delivery.

Behind the Scent

One of the many joys Nate and I share is our fondness for autumn. It was in autumn that we first launched Andante Home overseas, and it felt only fitting that we create a fragrance that should be born of the very season we love so dearly. Nate longed to capture the crispness of fallen leaves and I wanted to convey the richness of a fall harvest.

Of all the tales that get shared during the fall, none has impressed itself upon me more than Washington Irving’s “Legend of Sleepy Hollow”. The tale of a timid schoolmaster, made uneasy by his own superstitions in the hushed valley of Sleepy Hollow.

This fragrance is a tribute to such autumnal wonders. The rustle of leaves underfoot, the fragrance of apple orchards newly gathered, and the ghostly charm that lingers in the crisp autumn air.

Candle Care
  • Trim the wick to 1/4", before lighting and place on level surfaces.
  • Keep away from drafts & flammable objects.
  • Make sure the candle pools entirely before snuffing it out.
  • Keep your candles within view and out of reach of children and pets.
  • When burning, be sure there is at least 1/4" of wax left in the bottom of your jar to avoid shattering.
  • Keep your candle lit no longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time.
  • Don't blow out the candle. Use a snuffer instead.
