Nocturne Tide

In 2024, Nate and I survived what the world, half-jokingly called the “great war” of ticket hunting, and secured passes for one of the grandest concerts in Singapore. We arrived shortly before noon, checked into our hotel, and set out at once to revisit the places we had fallen for on a previous trip.

That evening I planned a secret surprise for Nate. It was a late-night immersive experience winding through the jungle-like paths along Siloso Beach. As we walked, the world seemed to slip its boundaries, half real, half dream, as though the night itself had claimed us for its own.
**The most enchanting moment came when the path opened suddenly to the midnight sea.** A sea breeze broke through the dense jungle allowing distant piano notes to drifted in, soft and haunting, like a nocturne played for the waves alone. There we stood, just the two of us, gazing upon the dark water as we watched the tide.
