Behind the Scent

It was during one particularly sweltering summer that Nate and I discovered the simple delight of creating cooling drinks to ease the heat of the day. At the time, we lived in a high-rise with but one small air-conditioner in the sitting room. More often than not, it was hardly worth running.
One night, restless from the heat, we found ourselves watching recipe videos for a drink called Agua Fresca. The creator of the recipe called for cucumbers, honey, and lime, but we, in our own fashion, altered it based on what we had on hand.
The drink was a marvel, light and sweet. Perfect for staying hydrated during the hot months. This fragrance is a remembrance of that summer, a reimagining of the sweet, cooling beverage we shared on evenings when the air was heavy.

Candle Care
  • Trim the wick to 1/4", before lighting and place on level surfaces.
  • Keep away from drafts & flammable objects.
  • Make sure the candle pools entirely before snuffing it out.
  • Keep your candles within view and out of reach of children and pets.
  • When burning, be sure there is at least 1/4" of wax left in the bottom of your jar to avoid shattering.
  • Keep your candle lit no longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time.
  • Don't blow out the candle. Use a snuffer instead.
