Behind the Scent

Through the years, Nate has shared with me tales of his childhood, and of the delight he found in unraveling complicated puzzles and teasing out difficult equations. Even now, Nate prefer to exercise his mind, whether with a game of sudoku, the building of a phone app, or any pursuit that called for patience and thought.
It is no wonder, that he holds such affection for Sherlock Holmes and the whole of the Canon. Mysteries suit him well; after all, his favorite board game remains “Clue,” and he always wins at it. I often think, if anyone were destined to capture in fragrance something as intricate and thoughtful as Sherlock, it would surely be Nate.
With all the lore of 221B Baker Street gathered in his mind, he set himself to the task. The result was a fragrance that carries with it the weight of Sherlock’s weathered case files, the well-worn leather of his Gladstone bag, and the lingering trace of smoke from a thoughtfully packed pipe.

Candle Care
  • Trim the wick to 1/4", before lighting and place on level surfaces.
  • Keep away from drafts & flammable objects.
  • Make sure the candle pools entirely before snuffing it out.
  • Keep your candles within view and out of reach of children and pets.
  • When burning, be sure there is at least 1/4" of wax left in the bottom of your jar to avoid shattering.
  • Keep your candle lit no longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time.
  • Don't blow out the candle. Use a snuffer instead.
