Behind the Scent
In Buddhist temples, it is a familiar and moving sight to see devotees bowing in prayer, three lit incenses held tenderly between their palms with delicate smoke tendrils escaping from each lit end. During our years in China, it was a ritual we witnessed nearly every day, a quiet reminder of devotion, mindfulness, and the simple beauty of presence.
In shaping this fragrance, our wish was to convey not only the colors of amber, deep brown, crimson and gold but also to fashion a harmony for mind, body, and soul. A scent that could be a quiet companion for those with a free spirit, and those who seek stillness upon their yoga mat or beneath the open sky. The tone of each fragrance captured every hue we envisioned with this fragrance.
As we created this fragrance, it became less a creation than a reflection to pause. It was shaped for those that value freedom, yet delights in stillness. It’s for those who know that joy may be found not in grand designs, but in quiet moments when the heart is at rest.
