Behind the Scent

Over the course of twelve years, Nate and I have wandered far and wide, crossing oceans and continents in our travels. Amidst all the wonders we have seen, there is one thing that has remained constant, a scent that binds all people.
It was while we were experimenting with green fragrances for our foliage collection that this revelation took form. As Nate carefully blended different notes, he happened upon a combination that startled us both. It is the scent of earth drinking deeply after rain, the air heavy with heat, soothed by the sky’s sudden gift of water.
We call it "Verdant Cloak", for it is the very veil that settles over the world when the parched land sighs in relief, releasing that sacred perfume known as petrichor. Its name comes from the Greek, meaning "stone" and "the fluid that flows from the veins of the gods". In this scent, we find a quiet truth, that no matter our place, we are all bound to this earth, cloaked in its green embrace.

Candle Care
  • Trim the wick to 1/4", before lighting and place on level surfaces.
  • Keep away from drafts & flammable objects.
  • Make sure the candle pools entirely before snuffing it out.
  • Keep your candles within view and out of reach of children and pets.
  • When burning, be sure there is at least 1/4" of wax left in the bottom of your jar to avoid shattering.
  • Keep your candle lit no longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time.
  • Don't blow out the candle. Use a snuffer instead.
